Vector NTI® Express Sequence Analysis & Design Software is all new for 2012, and is completely redesigned for speed, ease of use, and simplicity; while retaining the trusted tools in Vector NTI Advance® software. Vector NTI® Express is built on a new platform that is designed to support the future of Bioinformatics. It supports the rapidly developing disciples of Next Generation Sequencing and Synthetic Biology on the most popular computing architectures, including: native Mac OSX 10.6+, Windows® 7, and Windows® XP operating systems.

This is a non-expiring license that permits a single workstation to run Vector NTI® Express. The purchase of multiple Seat Licenses enables multiple workstations to run Vector NTI® Express, while the number of Dynamic Licenses purchased determines the number of users that are permitted simultaneous access. Concurrent licenses are controlled by a dynamic license server program.

Dynamic and Seat Licenses are available for both academic and industrial research.

What's New in Vector NTI® Express:

Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Support, including support for BAM files (e.g., Ion Torrent PGM™, SOLiD®, and Illumina® HiSeq® platforms). Note: a 3rd Party BAM file parser is required to save files in FASTA format, which Vector NTI® Express can then read. (We recommend SAM Tools, Piccard.)
Tools for Studying DNA-Protein Relationships, including translation, reverse-translation, and codon optimization
Prescribed, Step-by-Step Workflow to simplify complex tasks, such as contig assembly, multiple sequence alignment, and cloning
EMBOSS Algorithms: Standards-Based Bioinformatics algorithms (the same as Vector NTI Advance® software, and now using a standard, well documented software library), import support for analysis file types (BED, GFF, GTF), Compare Annotation on a Genome-Multi-Track Analysis (Gene, Promoter, Multiple Splice Variants, Transcript, Protein, and Terminator), and intersections to create new annotations
Plug-in Architecture allows users to have confidence that additional features and functionality can be added to the platform and deliver more value over time
Automatic Updates: When a user starts the Vector NTI® Express software, they will automatically be notified of updates and given the option to download the new or updated plug-ins. This will ensure that all users are running the latest, most complete software package available.
