Also used for synthesis of metallomesogenic polymers based on bis[η1(N)-3,4-dialkyloxybenzylidene-4?-dodecyloxyaniline]dichloropalladium(II) with octyl, decyl, dodecyl, tetradecyl and hexadecyl alkyl groups.
