Ion 560™ Chip Kit

Ion 560™ Chip Kit for next-generation sequencing expands sequencing capacity on the Ion GeneStudio™ S5 Plus and S5 Prime systems, generating 240–280 million reads per chip for 200-base-read libraries. The kit includes four (Cat. No. A56407) or eight (Cat. No. A56408) barcoded semiconductor sequencing chips for sequencing with supported Ion Torrent™ assays. Use the Ion 560™ Chip Kit for supported research applications, including comprehensive genomic profiling, transcriptome profiling, and targeted sequencing with Ion AmpliSeq™ standard and HD custom assays.

The Ion 560™ Workflow is designed to help labs:

• Expand sequencing capacity with 240–280 million reads per chip
• Sequence supported libraries with read lengths up to 200 bases
• Scale supported Ion Chef™ and Ion GeneStudio™ workflows while maintaining the familiar Ion Torrent™ systems
• Maintain chip-level sample tracking with an integrated chip barcode

• Torrent Suite™ Software v5.22 or later is required.
