Applications
A sulfonphthalein dye used as a pH indicator.
Solubility
Solubility in 0.1 N sodium hydroxide solution, almost transparent. Soluble in alcohol, dilute alkali, 0.1% ethanol. Insoluble in water.
Notes
Store away from oxidizing agents. Keep the container tightly closed and place it in a cool, dry and well ventilated condition.
