The ChargeSwitch® gDNA 0.2-1 ml Serum Kit provides reliable purification of high yields of genomic DNA from human serum samples. This kit has been found to outperform other available purification methods with high levels of sensitivity and offers scalability of sample sizes from 0.2 to 1 ml. This kit is ideal for PCR based applications such as gender PCR or cancer marker screening. This kit avoids the introduction of contaminating chaotropes, ethanol, and organic solvents for more reliable downstream processing. This kit includes all the necessary reagents for the number of preps listed and requires the use of a magnetic accessory. Please see the Accessories Chapter (Chapter 6) to select the best magnetic accessory for your needs.

All components of the ChargeSwitch® gDNA 1 ml Serum Kit are shipped at room temperature. Upon receipt, store the Proteinase K at 4“C. Store all other components at room temperature. All components are guaranteed stable for 6 months if stored properly.
