2-(2-Pyridyl)benzimidazole is used as a chelating fluorescent ligand in the synthesis of cobalt(II) complex. It was also used in the preparation of (H(2)L(1))(2)[Ru(III)Cl(4)(CH(3)CN)(2)](2)[Ru(IV)Cl(4)(CH(3)CN)(2)]·2Cl·6H(2)O complex.
This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
