Inhibits vesicular uptake of catecholamines and serotoninReserpine is an antipsychotic and antihypertensive drug used to treat the hypertension, strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems. It is used to treat the symptoms of dyskinesia in patients who are affected by huntington’s disease. It is widely used as a reference material in the mass spectroscopy technique and also used as a sedative for horses.
