The MAGPIX® System 1-Year Service Agreement provides a complete, cost effective support package aimed at maintaining peak performance in your MAGPIX® instrument. This includes:
• Emergency service for on-site repair, or a replacement system during repairs
• Labor and travel costs or round trip shipping charges for an instrument to be repaired
• Replacement parts costs for emergency repairs
• Product updates and modifications

The MAGPIX® system is a powerful multiplexing tool that delivers higher sample analysis throughput, increased assay flexibility, reduced sample volume, and lower costs than traditional ELISA and Western blotting. The MAGPIX® system is built on Luminex’s proven xMAP® technology and can be used with any magnetic bead-based Luminex® multiplex assay.

Luminex® xMAP® Technology: An Effective and Proven Analytical Tool
For the past 10 years, xMAP® technology has gained wide acceptance as a multiplex tool for use in a variety of applications, including protein expression profiling, focused gene expression profiling, and disease testing. The Luminex® 200™ or FLEXMAP® 3D instruments use xMAP® technology by combining fluorescent bead-based assays with flow cytometry, two lasers, real-time digital signal processing, and xPONENT® software to distinguish bead color (analyte) and assay signal strength (PE) fluorescence intensity.

The MAGPIX® System Brings the Power of Multiplexing to Every Lab
The MAGPIX® system is based on xMAP® technology in a new instrument built with light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for excitation, a CCD camera for bead and analyte detection, and high-speed digital signal processors. This system can perform singleplex and multiplex assays of up to 50 targets in single biological samples. The MAGPIX® system is compact and robust, providing a cost effective multiplexing tool, and the convenience of a simple, out of the box set-up procedure that lets you begin your research quickly. The MAGPIX® system is easy to use—ideal for both new and experienced users alike.

Magnetic Beads Let You Do More with Your Time
Novex® brand assays for the MAGPIX® system are built on the Luminex’s MagPlex® magnetic microsphere bead platform. These assays take advantage of the magnetic beads workflow that simplifies wash steps and reduces variability in results. They are compatible with both vacuum and magnetic wash stations, as well as other Luminex® xMAP® platforms. The MAGPIX® system may also be used with Luminex® magnetic bead-based assays from other providers.

More Validation for Confidence in Your Results
Built on the xMAP® bead technology, the Novex® brand immunoassays are designed for the detection of either single or multiple analytes in a single biological sample. Our MAGPIX® system and qualified assays offer accurate analytical performance with efficient, easy-to-follow protocols. In addition, the quantitative analytical results obtained with Novex® brand multiplexing assays are routinely tested against matching ELISAs to help ensure correlative results.
