You will find a series of eLearning courses which can cover different topics such as foundational theory and/or basic operations principle and/or user maintenance and troubleshooting.

The Orbitrap Exploris™240 Foundational Theory eLearning course is on the basics of the Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris™ 240 mass spectrometer. This self-paced eLearning program is intended for learners who are new to mass spectrometry or the Orbitrap Exploris™240 mass spectrometer.

This Foundational Theory eLearning course is similar to the Orbitrap Exploris™ 120 and the Orbitrap Exploris™ 480.

The Orbitrap Exploris™ 240 Xcalibur™ Basic Operations with Xcalibur™ eLearning course provides a novice user with a detailed overview of the Tune program for the Orbitrap Exploris™ 240 mass spectrometers. This course provides the user of an Orbitrap Exploris™ Mass Spectrometer with guidelines on identifying and resolving FlexMix quality issues. Basic instruction on how to perform a system calibration on a Thermo Scientific™ Orbitrap Exploris™ mass spectrometer is also provided. This course provides basic routine maintenance instruction and basic instruction on how to perform a sample injection using a standard configuration of a Thermo Scientific™ Vanquish™ Flex UHPLC system in connection with an Orbitrap Exploris™ Mass Spectrometer. This course is designed for new users who want to learn how to use/run basic experiments on the instrument. Some topics include:

• Tune overview: access & layout, instrument control ribbon, plot areas, left-side, and right-side panes
• Control instrument power and acquire data within Tune
• How the FlexMix spectrum should look before executing a calibration

This Basic Operations eLearning course is similar to the Orbitrap Exploris™ 240 and the Orbitrap Exploris™ 480.

The Orbitrap Exploris™ 240 user maintenance and troubleshooting with Xcalibur™ eLearning course provides basic instructions on how to perform troubleshooting diagnostics on an Orbitrap Exploris™ mass spectrometer. How to investigate loss of signal, role of the vacuum system and the importance of temperature management for good performance. Some of the included in the course is:

• Installing ESI probe and housing
• Manipulating ESI source conditions
• TNG Tune diagnostics.
• Initial setup conditions and performance verification
• Evaluating system parameters & conditions including spray stability, syringe pump flow rate, fluidics, gas settings, vacuum pressures, etc
• Which vacuum components require routine maintenance and their recommended schedule
• Important safety guidelines and maintenance procedures that included supporting pictures and videos.
