Bench Pro 2100 1-year Rapid Exchange Plan will add one year of service coverage to your existing 1-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

Bench Pro 2100 is covered by our Rapid Exchange Service protection; should your instrument fail, we will send out a factory-certified refurbished replacement instrument within one business day from the time that we determine that a replacement instrument is required. Typically, you should receive your replacement within 3 business days of shipment. The service also includes priority access to our Applications and Instrument Technical Support teams. The service does not include planned maintenance or any other user-replaceable parts. The problem instrument will need to be repackaged and returned to us. Computer hardware is not covered by this plan.

You can purchase a Rapid Exchange Plan at the time of instrument purchase or within one year after the purchase of a Bench Pro 2100.

What is our “Rapid Exchange" Service?
Available for a selected number of our small, lower-cost Invitrogen and Applied Biosystems’ instruments, this service provides our customers with a refurbished replacement instrument within 3 business days should an instrument fail.

With this service, if a customer has trouble with an instrument, they call Technical Support. If the instrument requires service, the Technical Support representative will transfer (or conference) the customer to the Technical Assistance Center (TAC). TAC then manages the Rapid Exchange process and has a refurbished replacement instrument sent to the customer. The customer should receive the replacement instrument within 3 business days. The customer then repackages the defective instrument (using the packaging from the refurbished unit) and returns it to us. We pay for the return shipping.

Rapid Exchange Service features include:
• Guaranteed 3 business day shipment of refurbished replacement
• Factory-certified replacement unit
• Priority telephone and email access to TAC

Online Purchase of Rapid Exchange Service Plan
The Rapid Exchange Plan may be purchased online only at the same time as the instrument. To purchase the Rapid Exchange Plan separately (but within one year after the Bench Pro 2100 purchase), please fill out the Care Center Form. Select “Quote for Service and Support" under Area of Inquiry. A Customer Care representative will contact you shortly to process your request.
