CytKick™ Max Autosampler Upgrade Kit (Invitrogen™)

The CytKick Max Autosampler Upgrade Kit enables the upgrade of a CytKick Autosampler to a CytKick Max Autosampler. The upgrade is carried out by either a field service engineer or field application specialist and provides the following features: faster plate times (22 minutes for a 96-well plate or 88 minutes for a 384-well plate) with a boost mode, user-definable customized plate definitions allowing the use of any ANSI spec plates, evaporation protection with foil covers, automated tube sample acquisition for 1.5- and 2.0-mL Eppendorf tubes, and passive cooling capability.

Attune™ NxT Yellow Laser Upgrade Kit

The Attune® NxT Yellow Laser Upgrade Kit is designed to expand the 561 nm excitation capabilities of the Attune® NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer. Given the large array of labels, dyes, and applications to choose from, the ability to upgrade your instrument is key. The Yellow Laser upgrade kit enables the detection of many red-fluorescent proteins and provides a better excitation source for many PE and PE-Tandem dyes.

Attune™ NxT Emission Filter, 530/30BP

This is a replacement 530/30 bandpass filter used in the optics path of the Attune® NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer.

Attune™ NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer Autosampler (Applied Biosystems™)

The Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer Autosampler is an add-on accessory compatible with Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer models designed for use with this device (Cat. Nos. A24858, A24859, A24860, A24861, A24862, A24863, A24864, A28993, A28995, A28997, A28999, A29001, A29002, A29003, A29004). The Attune NxT Autosampler enables rapid processing of multiple samples by automatically analyzing samples from 96-, 384-, and deep-well plates. An Attune NxT Autosampler Accessory Kit is included. A computer is not included with the autosampler, as it is included with the cytometer itself.

Reliable
The Attune NxT Autosampler was designed to minimize system down time. Automated sampling devices are often plagued by clogging or probe crashes. The Intelligent Probe, with a 200-micron diameter that is larger than most probes available in the industry, minimizes instances of clogging.

To prevent probe crashes, which may require expensive probe replacement, the Attune NxT Autosampler automatically performs a probe self-calibration every month to help ensure consistent positioning of the probe within every well. The self-calibration verifies proper function of the probe, reduces variability in probe positioning over time to prevent failures during plate runs, and helps improve reliability over the life of the system. Self-calibration of the probe also allows the autosampler to be easily moved, so it can be shared between multiple instruments.

Broad compatibility
The Attune NxT Autosampler allows use of many different plate formats, including 96-, 384-, and deep-well plates, without being restricted to a single manufacturer. To maintain system flexibility, the manual sample probe is always accessible even when the loader is present, and switching between tubes and plates is as simple as a flip of a switch.

In addition, the Attune NxT Autosampler initiates automated cleaning procedures when the instrument is shutting down to help ensure proper maintenance with little user interaction.

Consistent data
Unlike other plate loaders that mix samples by shaking, which may not ensure homogeneity of the sample, the Attune NxT Autosampler mixes samples by aspiration, enabling uniform mixing while preserving sample viability and resulting in consistent data throughout the plate.

Simple to use
The instrument design and software were developed with customer ease-of-use in mind. The Attune NxT Autosampler has fluidic bottles with sensors that inform the user when the fluids need to be replaced. The autosampler’s indicator lights and warning systems have been designed to ensure that a user who has walked away from the system can easily see the system status at all times.

Setting up an experiment with the Attune NxT cytometric software is simple. Using a plate layout view, users can create compensation wells, define instrument settings, and identify samples. The intuitive software allows quick learning and data analysis. For example, a heat map view allows rapid screening and confirmation of samples while the instrument is acquiring data.

CytKick™ Max Extended Cooling Adaptor (Invitrogen™)

The CytKick Max Extended Cooling Adaptor is designed for use with the CytKick Max Autosampler and the Attune Acoustic Focusing Cytometer. This cooling block maintains samples at 2-15°C for 95-100 minutes while they are being analyzed on the instrument. The cooling adaptor is brought to temperature by placing it in a refrigerator overnight or in a freezer for a minimum of two hours prior to use. If this longer cooling time is not required, please see the CytKick Max Universal Cooling Adaptor, which cools samples for ~65 minutes.

Attune™ NxT Automation Bundle, stacks (Invitrogen™)

The Attune NxT Automation Bundle consists of an Orbitor RS2 Microplate Mover and a barcode reader for quick and easy plate identification. This Orbitor RS2 Microplate Mover is an automation robot designed for use with the Attune NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer that enables flow cytometry in automated environments for increased sample throughput. It is offered in three different configurations: one with sequential access stacks for plate storage and handling (this page), one with random access hotels (24 plates/3 hotels) (Cat. A33008), and one with two sequential access stacks and one random access hotel (Cat. No. A35220).

Extensive vertical reach allows the Orbitor RS2 Microplate Mover to access virtually any microplate instrument location, including stacked instruments, and its telescoping arm can reach a variety of distances. The ingenious arm travels through the base, resulting for rapid and efficient movements. This robot has a full 360°workspace with unlimited base rotation; this eliminates the need for hard stops and reverse movements.

Advanced closed-loop motion control provides collision detection and position monitoring, allowing the Orbitor RS2 Microplate Mover to quickly resume without the need to re-home. With a wide range of grip-control functionality, this robot combines performance with innovation. From variable force control to plate detection, the feature set is designed to impress. The result is remarkable speed, precise motion, and consistent, accurate plate placement.

The Orbitor RS2 Microplate Mover is powered by Thermo Scientific Momentum Integration Software with features such as Momentum scheduling software, error detection and recovery, and a dynamic scheduler that allows changes while running.

Attune™ NxT Violet 6 Conversion Kit for Violet Laser (Invitrogen™)

The Attune NxT Violet 6 Conversion kits are designed to reconfigure Attune NxT four-channel violet instruments to allow detection of six channels of violet. A conversion kit is required for each original and any upgraded lasers of the instrument. The conversion is carried out by a Field Service Engineer.

Attune™ NxT Shutdown Bottle

This is a 175 mL replacement bottle for shutdown solution for the Attune® NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer.

Attune™ NxT Custom Filter Holder Kit

The Attune® NxT Custom Filter Holder Kit allows users of the Attune® NxT acoustic focusing cytometer to make their own custom emission or dichroic filters in order to customize the optical configuration of the instrument. Each kit contains sufficient parts to make 2 emission filters and 2 dichroic filters. The kit includes instructions for attaching the filter to the filter blade, but does not include the glass filter.

This is a replacement 440/50 bandpass filter used in the optics path of the Attune® NxT Acoustic Focusing Cytometer.

Attune™ Acoustic Focusing Cytometer Syringe (Applied Biosystems™)

The 10 mL focusing fluid syringe is used with the fluidics system of the Attune® Acoustic Focusing Cytometer to move focusing fluid. Replacement of this syringe is recommended as part of instrument maintenance.

CytKick™ Max Tube Rack (Invitrogen™)

The CytKick Max Tube Rack is designed to for use with the CytKick Max Autosampler and the Attune Acoustic Focusing Cytometer.
