To view our on-demand webinar, please complete the short form below.

Governments across the globe are taking measures to monitor and reduce particulate pollutants to foster environmental justice for their community. How can you aid in these pollution-reduction efforts and comply with regulations? By implementing real-time air particulate monitoring using instruments like the Thermo Scientific 5014iQ and 5030iQ Particulate Monitors.

Air monitoring instruments with advanced technology for accurate and real-time measurement are critical to meet the most stringent of the measurement requirements posed by the regulatory agencies. Particulate monitoring has also increased in significance, and the technique has gained traction worldwide.

This webinar delves into the importance of real-time monitoring of particulate pollutants and discusses how the 5014iQ Particulate Monitor, with beta attenuation technology, and the 5030iQ Particulate Monitor, with beta attenuation technology coupled with nephelometry, achieve this monitoring capability.

Watch to gain an understanding of key technologies and more:

  • Beta Attenuation technology
  • Beta Attenuation (gravimetric) technology and nephelometry (optical)
  • Advancements including enhanced user interface and connectivity
  • Instrument technical performance and global compliance

Who should watch:

  • Regulatory agencies and research institutes
  • Individuals in roles such as air quality program managers, air monitoring technicians, and metrology lab experts
  • Decision makers like technical leads or instrumentation and procurement managers

Learn how you can effectively and efficiently monitor ambient air particulates.

About the speakers:

Jeffrey Ambs, Sr. R&D Project Manager, Jeff has over 30 years of experience in ambient and emissions measurement. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota and has worked extensively in aerosol/PM measurement, focusing on reducing worker exposure to coal dust and diesel emissions in underground mines. His career has evolved from field investigations to developing instruments like diesel PM sampling systems, Ambient Particulate Monitors, and Gas Analyzers. Jeff's work has come full circle with the development of a personal dust monitor for underground mine workers.

Ekta Suman, Product Manager, has over a decade of experience in new product development and product management within Life Science, Biotechnology, Semiconductor Filtration, and Water Filtration/Purification industries. Ekta has Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from University of New Hampshire. In her current product management role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, she is responsible for leading global ambient Particulate Monitoring marketing and product strategy.
