Webinars — Live and on-demand — Mass Spectrometry for Clinical Research Webinar Series

Analysis of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) with high-resolution accurate-mass (HRAM) mass spectrometry offers significant advantages and allows for identification of single amino acid variants. In contrast, both normal and deleterious sequence variants might be missed by immunoassays or non-HRAM-MS methods. This webinar will highlight a robust and reliable method that was developed to identify IGF-1 variants and distinguish them by a center of mass (COM) calculation, followed by various tandem-MS activation techniques (HCD, ETD, ETciD, EThcD, UVPD) using Thermo Scientific Orbitrap-based mass spectrometry systems.
