Western Blot: To detect Human MIP-3alpha (CCL20) by Western Blot analysis MIP-3 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Product # 500-M28-500UG) can be used at a concentration of 0.20-0.40 µg/mL. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human MIP-3alpha (CCL20) is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.

Preparation: Produced in mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-3alpha (CCL20). Anti-Human MIP-3alpha (CCL20)-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein A affinity chromatography.
Target Information
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3alpha), also called CCL20, is expressed in the liver, lungs, lymph nodes and peripheral blood lymphocytes. MIP-3alpha is strongly up regulated by inflammatory signals, and down regulated by the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10. MIP3alpha signals through the G protein-coupled receptor, CCR6, and acts as a chemoattractant to lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
