Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human VCAM-1. Anti-Human VCAM-1-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human VCAM-1 matrix.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human VCAM-1 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human VCAM-1 (500-P300Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human VCAM-1.

Target Information
VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases.
