APPL1 Antibody (PA5-114869) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of APPL1 in mouse heart tissue sections. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114869) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total APPL1.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene has been shown to be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, and in the crosstalk between the adiponectin signaling and insulin signaling pathways. The encoded protein binds many other proteins, including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and proteins of the NuRD/MeCP1 complex. This protein is found associated with endosomal membranes, but can be released by EGF and translocated to the nucleus.
