CD93 Antibody (PA5-46921) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of CD93 in immersion fixed U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cell line. Samples were incubated in CD93 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-46921) using a dilution of 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.

In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse C1q R1 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a cell-surface glycoprotein and type I membrane protein that was originally identified as a myeloid cell-specific marker. The encoded protein was once thought to be a receptor for C1q, but now is thought to instead be involved in intercellular adhesion and in the clearance of apoptotic cells. The intracellular cytoplasmic tail of this protein has been found to interact with moesin, a protein known to play a role in linking transmembrane proteins to the cytoskeleton and in the remodelling of the cytoskeleton.
