PA1-21625 detects CXCR4 in mouse samples.
PA1-21625 has been successfully used in ELISA, immunohistochemistry and Western blot procedures.
The PA1-21625 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues Y S E E V G S G D Y D S N K E P C F R D E N V H F N R of mouse.
The HIV receptor is composed of two molecules, the CD4 binding receptor and a co-receptor. The human chemokine receptor CxCR4 is one of the co-receptors used by primary isolates of HIV-1. Extracellular domains of human CxCR4 are important for HIV entry into the target cells. Mouse CxCR4 receptor is 91% identical to human CxCR4 and can function as co-receptor when co-expresed with human CD4.
