PA1-18305 detects Clathrin from rat samples.
PA1-18305 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (paraffin and frozen) and Western blot procedures.
The PA1-18305 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues K(619) A G L L Q R A L E H F T D L Y D I K R(638) of rat clathrin, conjugated to diphtheria toxin. The sequence is 100% conserved in mouse, human, and bovine.
Reconstitute with 100 µL of distilled water.
Clathrin is the major protein of the polyhedral coat of coated pits and vesicles. Two different adapter protein complexes link the clathrin lattice either to the plasma membrane or to the trans-Golgi network.
