Complement Factor B Antibody (PA5-89110) in WB
Western blot analysis of Complement Factor B in extracts of rat serum. Samples were incubated with Complement Factor B Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89110) using a dilution of 1:3,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 10s.

Target Information
Factor B is a component of the alternative complement pathway. The protein is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular mass of 93 kDa. Factor B is cleaved by factor D into the Ba component (30 kDa) and the Bb (63 kDa). Bb together with C3b forms the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb.
