Complement Factor D Antibody (PA5-48079) in WB
Western blot analysis of Complement Factor D in mouse plasma. Samples were incubated in Complement Factor D polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-48079) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Complement Factor D/Adipsin at approximately 45 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Complement Factor D is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhGranzyme A is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Complement factor D is a serine protease of the alternative pathway of complement activation. The protein is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular mass of 25 kDa. Factor D cleaves factor B bound to C3b, generating the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb and releasing the Ba fragment.
