Western blot detection of DIAPH2 in 20µg of HEK293 cell lysate. Samples were run on a SDS-PAGE and probed using a DIAPH2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-31027) at a dilution of 1:500 and detected using an HRP-labeled Goat anti-Rabbit IgG f secondary at an A dilution of 1:5000 for 1 hour at room temperature. Chemiluminescence was used at a 1 min exposure time.

PA1-31027 detects DIAPH2 from human samples.
PA1-31027 has been successfully used in Western blot applications.
The PA1-31027 immunogen is: Synthetic peptide: VPLERSRSRHNGAISSK conjugated to KLH, corresponding to amino acids 1085-1101 of Human DIA.
The product of this gene belongs to the diaphanous subfamily of the formin homology family of proteins. This gene may play a role in the development and normal function of the ovaries. Defects in this gene have been linked to premature ovarian failure 2. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
