DSG2 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Ethanol) fixed A431 cells using 21880-1-AP (DSG2 antibody) at dilution of 1:50 and Alexa Fluor 488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

DSG2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 21880-1-AP (DSG2 antibody) at dilution of 1:1000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

DSG2 Antibody in Immunoprecipitation (IP) — IP result of anti-DSG2 (IP:21880-1-AP, 4ug; Detection:21880-1-AP 1:1000) with HepG2 cells lysate 3600ug.

Target Information

Desmosomes are cell-cell junctions between epithelial, myocardial, and certain other cell types. Currently, three desmoglein subfamily members have been identified and all are members of the cadherin cell adhesion molecule superfamily. These desmoglein gene family members are located in a cluster on chromosome 18. This protein has been identified as the autoantigen of the autoimmune skin blistering disease pemphigus vulgaris.
