Filaggrin Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunocytochemistry analysis of Filaggrin in HeLa cells. Samples were treated with PFA, permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked in 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), and incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115235) at a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C). Secondary staining was applied with mouse anti-beta tubulin; AlexaFluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red); AlexaFluor 88 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) and DAPI (blue) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C).

Filaggrin Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry analysis of Filaggrin in human colorectal cancer and adjacent normal tissues. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115235) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit.

Filaggrin Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of Filaggrin in HeLa cells (left lane: treated with blocking peptide). Samples were incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115235).

Target Information

Filaggrin is expressed only in well differentiated keratinized epithelial cells. The synthesis of filaggrin varies in types of ichthyosis, and with viral, premalignant and malignant conditions.
