          GLI1 Antibody (PA5-81184) in ICC/IF

Immunofluorescence staining of GLI1 in HeLa and HepG2 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with GLI1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-81184, 1:1,000) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®594-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (red). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Product Specific Information

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%).

This antibody has specificity for Human GLI1.

          Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel family of zinc finger proteins. The encoded transcription factor is activated by the sonic hedgehog signal transduction cascade and regulates stem cell proliferation. The activity and nuclear localization of this protein is negatively regulated by p53 in an inhibitory loop. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
