Flow cytometry analysis of GUSB in HelpG2 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (10 min at room temp) and then permeabilized with 90% ice-cold methanol for 20 min at -20°C. The cells then were incubated in 5% BSA to block non-specific protein-protein interactions (30 min at room temp). Followed by secondary antibody incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Target Information
The GUSB gene encodes beta-glucuronidase (EC 3.2.1.31), a lysosomal hydrolase involved in the stepwise degradation of glucuronic acid-containing glycosaminoglycans. It is a tetrameric glycoprotein composed of identical subunits. The GUSB gene is mutated in mucopolysaccharidosis type VII (MPS7; MIM 253220).
