LMTK3 Antibody (PA5-114391) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of LMTK3 in paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissues. Antigen retrieval was performed with citrate buffer (pH6, 20 min). Samples were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated in LMTK3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114391) at a dilution of 1 µg/mL (overnight, 4°C), followed by biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG (30 min, 37°C) and Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC) with DAB.

Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human HEK293 whole cell, human PC-3 whole cell, human U2OS whole cell, mouse thymus tissue. IHC: mouse brain tissue, rat brain tissue.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
Protein kinase which phosphorylates ESR1 (in vitro) and protects it against proteasomal degradation. May also regulate ESR1 levels indirectly via a PKC-AKT-FOXO3 pathway where it decreases the activity of PKC and the phosphorylation of AKT, thereby increasing binding of transcriptional activator FOXO3 to the ESR1 promoter and increasing ESR1 transcription (PubMed:21602804). Involved in endocytic trafficking of N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors (NMDAR) in neurons. [UniProt]
