Immunofluorescence Microscopy of MDA5 antibody. Tissue: Human lymph node cells. Fixation: 0.5% PFA. Antigen retrieval: not required. Primary antibody: MDA5 antibody at 20 µg/mL for 1 hr at RT. Secondary antibody: Fluorescein rabbit secondary antibody at 1:10,000 for 45 min at RT. Staining: MDA5 as red fluorescent signal.

Target Information
DEAD box proteins, characterized by the conserved motif Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp and a protein kinase C-activating compound, mezerein. Irreversible reprogramming of melanomas can be achieved by treatment with both these agents; treatment with either agent alone only achieves reversible differentiation.
