Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of HeLa (Lane 1), HEK-293 (Lane 2), Jurkat (Lane 3), Raji (Lane 4), MCF7 (Lane 5) and tissue extract of mouse testis (Lane 6). METTL3 is the 70 kDa subunit of MT-A which is part of N6-adenosine-methyltransferase. This enzyme is involved in the posttranscriptional methylation of internal adenosine residues in eukaryotic mRNAs, forming N6-methyladenosine.
