MLK2 Antibody (PA5-100616) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of MLK2 in HepG2 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with MLK2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100616) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Target Information
MAP3K10 (MLK2) is a serine/threonine kinase which has been shown to activate MAPK8/JNK and MKK4/SEK1. This kinase itself can be phoshorylated, and is thus activated by JNK kinases. MAP3K10 functions preferentially on the JNK signaling pathway, and is reported to be involved in nerve growth factor (NGF) induced neuronal apoptosis.
