Detection of human and mouse PF1 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, mouse TCMK-1, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PF1 antibody (Product # A301-647A) (lot A301-647A-2) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Target Information
Acts as a transcriptional repressor. Involved in recruitment of functional SIN3A complexes to DNA. Represses transcription at least in part through the activity of an associated histone deacetylase (HDAC).
