Immunocytochemistry analysis of PMSCL1 in HeLa cells. Samples were incubated with PMSCL1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-72959) using a dilution of 1:100 followed by FITC (green). Nuclei and actin were counterstained with DAPI (blue) and Phalloidin (red).

Immunogen has 83% identity to rat and 90% identity to bovine.
Prior to immunostaining paraffin tissues, antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended.
Target Information
This gene encodes a component of the human exosome, a exoribonuclease complex which processes and degrades RNA in the nucleus and cytoplasm. This component may play a role in mRNA degradation and the polymyositis/scleroderma autoantigen complex. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
