PA5-23400 targets POU3F2 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Bovine, Canine, Equine, Human, mouse, and Rat samples.
The PA5-23400 immunogen is synthetic peptide (254 AHHDPHSDEDTPTSDD 269) of POU3F2 protein.
The amino acid sequence used as immunogen is 87% homologous in Equine, 81% homologous in Bovine and Porcine.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the POU-III class of neural transcription factors. The encoded protein is involved in neuronal differentiation and enhances the activation of corticotropin-releasing hormone regulated genes. Overexpression of this protein is associated with an increase in the proliferation of melanoma cells.
