PPP2R1A Antibody (A300-962A) in IP
Detection of human PPP2R1A by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PPP2R1A antibody (Product # A300-962A) (lot 2) used for IP at 3 µg per reaction. PPP2R1A was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PPP2R1A antibody A300-963A. For blotting immunoprecipitated PPP2R1A, A300-962A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
The PR65 subunit of protein phosphatase 2A serves as a scaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalytic subunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. Upon interaction with GNA12 promotes dephosphorylation of microtubule associated protein TAU/MAPT. Required for proper chromosome segregation and for centromeric localization of SGO1 in mitosis.
