          PPP2R1A Antibody (PA5-103299) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of PPP2R1A in A549 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with PPP2R1A polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103299) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue). {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Product Specific Information

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total PPP2R1A.

          Target Information

The PR65 subunit of protein phosphatase 2A serves as a scaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalytic subunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. Upon interaction with GNA12 promotes dephosphorylation of microtubule associated protein TAU/MAPT. Required for proper chromosome segregation and for centromeric localization of SGO1 in mitosis.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
