PA5-31237 targets PRPSAP2 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and Rat samples.
The PA5-31237 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 103 and 359 of Human PRPSAP2.
The enzyme phosphoribosylpyrophosphate synthetase (PRS) catalyzes the formation of phosphoribosylpyrophosphate which is a substrate for synthesis of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides, histidine, tryptophan and NAD. PRS exists as a complex with two catalytic subunits and two associated subunits. This gene encodes a non-catalytic associated subunit of PRS.
