Detection of human and mouse RUVBL1 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, mouse TCMK-1, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RUVBL1 antibody (Product # A304-716A) (lot A304-716A-1) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the eukaryotic diacylglycerol kinase family. It may attenuate protein kinase C activity by regulating diacylglycerol levels in intracellular signaling cascade and signal transduction. Alternative splicing occurs at this locus and four transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
