SERPINA2 Antibody (PA5-103593) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of SERPINA2 in human kidney cancer and adjacent normal tissues. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with SERPINA2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103593) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total SERPINA2.
Target Information
The SERPINA2 gene encodes a member of the serpin family of proteins, a group of proteins that inhibit serine proteases. The encoded intracellular glycoprotein is localized at the endoplasmic reticulum. This gene is a polymorphic pseudogene, with the non-functional allele being predominant in some populations. Some individuals, as represented by the reference genome allele, contain a 2kb coding region deletion and a start code mutation. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2014].
