SLAMF8 Antibody (PA5-47220) in WB
Western blot analysis of SLAMF8 in HEK293T human embryonic kidney cell line either mock transfected, transfected with EGFP, or transfected with human BLAME. Samples were incubated in SLAMF8 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47220) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for BLAME/SLAMF8 at approximately 32 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human NTB-A/SLAMF6 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the CD2 family of cell surface proteins involved in lymphocyte activation. These proteins are characterized by Ig domains. This protein is expressed in lymphoid tissues, and studies of a similar protein in mouse suggest that it may function during B cell lineage commitment. The gene is found in a region of chromosome 1 containing many CD2 genes.
