SLCO2A1 Antibody (PA5-98789) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SLCO2A1 in Hela cells using a SLCO2A1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98789) at a dilution of 1:166. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L). Cells were counter-stained with DAPI.

Target Information
Prostaglandin transporter (PGT), also known as SLCO2A1, has been identified as a functional prostaglandin (PG) carrier that mediates either the release of newly-synthesized PGs by cells and/or the uptake of PGs prior to intracellular oxidation. Northern blot analysis revealed that PGT mRNA has broad tissue distribution, suggesting its role in the transport and/ or metabolic clearance of PG in diverse tissues (8787677).
