SPOCK2 Antibody (PA5-48009) in WB
Western blot analysis of SPOCK2 in rat lung tissue. Samples were incubated in SPOCK2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-48009) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Testican 2/SPOCK2 at approximately 140 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

This antibody detects human, mouse, and rat Testican 2/SPOCK2 in direct ELISAs and human Testican 2/SPOCK2 in Western blots.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The SPOCK2 gene encodes the protein testican-2, a member of the SPARC (secreted protein acidic and rich in cysteine) family of extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins. SPOCK2 is involved in modulating the ECM environment, influencing cell-matrix interactions, tissue remodeling, and cellular communication. It plays a role in the regulation of proteolytic activity by inhibiting metalloproteinases, thereby contributing to the maintenance and integrity of the ECM.
