SuFu Antibody (A302-334A) in IP
Detection of human SuFu by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SuFu antibody (Product # A302-334A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. SuFu was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SuFu antibody A302-335A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated SuFu, A302-335A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Target Information
The Hedgehog signaling pathway plays an important role in early human development. The pathway is a signaling cascade that plays a role in pattern formation and cellular proliferation during development. This gene encodes a negative regulator of the hedgehog signaling pathway. Defects in this gene are a cause of medulloblastoma. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
