          Flow cytometry analysis of TGF beta-1,2,3 Recombinant Rat Monoclonal Antibody (eBioTB2F) (Product # 740080T) was performed using THP-1 M2 differentiated and THP-1 undifferentiated cells treated with Protein Transport Inhibitor cocktail (Product # 00-4980-00) for 4 hours. These genes are cloned into an expression vector and expressed in vitro. The advantages of recombinant antibodies include better specificity and lot-to-lot consistency.

          It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

          Target Information

          TGF-beta1, -2, and -3 are a closely related group of proteins (70-80% sequence homology) that are produced by many cell types and function as growth and differentiation factors. The active forms of TGF-beta1, -2, and -3 are disulfide-linked homodimers.
