Detection of human TTI2 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded), HEK293T (T; 50 µg) and Jurkat (J; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TTI2 antibody (Product # A303-476A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 1 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. Target Information
The DNA replication (origin) licensing system is necessary for duplicating the genome in each cell cycle. Geminin is a protein that prevents DNA replication by blocking the MCM complex incorporation into prereplication complex (pre-RC). It is absent during G1 phase and accumulates during S, G2, and M phases of mitosis. It is then degraded during the metaphase-anaphase trasition allowing replication to occur during subsequent cycles. Geminin has also been implicated in maintaining integrity of the male germline genome.
