WIPF1/WIP Antibody (TA590158) in WB
Western blot analysis of HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Cat # PS100001, Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY WIPF1 (Cat # RC217601, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and blotted with anti-WIPF1(Cat # TA590158). Positive lysates [LY401163] (100 µg) and [LC401163] (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Target Information
This gene encodes a protein that plays an important role in the organization of the actin cytoskeleton. The encoded protein binds to a region of Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome protein that is frequently mutated in Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, an X-linked recessive disorder. Impairment of the interaction between these two proteins may contribute to the disease. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
