About This Kit
900-K68K consists of: 900-K68 (capture antibody, detection antibody, and protein standard), and AVIDIN-60UL (avidin HRP-conjugate).
Mouse Eotaxin ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant mouse Eotaxin in a sandwich ELISA format. Mouse Eotaxin ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 1,000 ELISA plate wells.
The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.
Target information
This gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not mononuclear cells or neutrophils. This eosinophil specific chemokine assumed to be involved in eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma and parasitic infections.
