900-K151K consists of: 900-K151 (capture antibody, detection antibody, and protein standard), and AVIDIN-60UL (avidin HRP-conjugate).
Human CXCL11 ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains the key components required for the quantitative measurement of natural and/or recombinant human CXCL11 in a sandwich ELISA format. Human CXCL11 ABTS ELISA Development Kit contains enough material to assay the target cytokine in at least 1,000 ELISA plate wells.
The ABTS ELISA Buffer Kit (Product # 900-K00), sold separately, is recommended to be used in conjunction with this ABTS ELISA Development Kit for optimal performance. This buffer kit contains all the necessary components to assay ten 96-well ELISA plates (included) and contains detailed handling instructions.
Target information
Interferon-inducible T-cell alpha chemoattractant ( I-TAC), belonging to the CXC chemokine family, is expressed in peripheral blood leukocytes, pancreas and liver, thymus, spleen, lung, small intestine, placenta and prostate. Its molecular weight is 8-11 kD. I-TAC is also known as CXCL-11 and IP-9. The cytokine is involved in regulating calcium release and inducing a chemotactic response in activated T-cells and is the dominant ligand for CXC receptor-3. The gene encoding this protein contains 4 exons and at least three polyadenylation signals which might reflect cell-specific regulation of expression. IFN-gamma is a potent inducer of transcription of this gene. It is upregulated in patients with AIDS, dementia and in patients with multiple sclerosis.
