DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer

The Thermo Scientific DXR3 Flex compact Raman spectrometer delivers a wide range of cost-effective, research grade analysis capabilities through user-swappable micro stages, macro sampling, fiber optic probe accessories and even hyphenation capabilities that you can switch from sample to sample or day to day. Whether it is a piece of rock, unknown mixture of powders, a large painting, a microscopic fiber, or a reaction mixture in a vessel, identifying and analyzing them is easy and reliable. For your most demanding research and routine applications applications rely on the flexible research grade performance of the DXR3 Flex.

DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer capabilities

DXR3 Flex Raman Spectrometer flexible sampling overview:

  • Macro sample holder for bulk sample measurement: liquid samples in vials and cuvettes; solid and powder samples.
  • Micro measurement accessory to accurately measure in micron-level spatial resolution. Equipped with a camera and measurement objective, Raman spectra from a very small sample or a small area can be obtained. Typical small samples would be fiber/hair, paint chips, microplastics. Additionally, a large painting or large sample can be placed underneath the objective to obtain Raman spectra from micron-level areas of interest.
  • Fiber optic option adds ease to measurement of any samples, and also allows measurements of samples that are not easily accessible.
  • Design your own holder: the open-architecture design makes it extremely easy to design custom holders for your sample. Mirrors, beam tubes and optical parts are available.
  • Hyphenation: couple with other techniques to obtain Raman data simultaneously. Free-space coupling ensures maximum efficiency and high signal to noise ratio.
