TTK Antibody (35-9100) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence analysis of Dual specificity protein kinase TTK was performed using 70% confluent log phase U-87 MG cells. The cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde for 10 minutes, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton™ X-100 for 15 minutes, and blocked with 2% BSA for 45 minutes at room temperature. Target Information
TTK is a serine/threonine kinase closely related to SPK1, PIM 1 and CDC2 serine/threonine kinases. TTK is a dual-specificity kinase, which can also phosphorylate tyrosine. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The constant regulatory subunit A serves as a scaffolding molecule to coordinate the assembly of the catalytic subunit and a variable regulatory B subunit. TTK encodes an alpha isoform of the constant regulatory subunit A. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described.
