I've ordered the Human Episomal iPSC Line and am looking for the passage number. Can you please provide the info?

These cells were cultured on MEFs for 29 passages. They were subsequently adapted to grow in a feeder-free system using Essential 8 Medium for another 10 passages and then cryopreserved. So, when you thaw them, they would be at passage 40 in total.

What are induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)?

iPSCs are genetically reprogrammed somatic cells that exhibit a pluripotent stem cell-like state similar to embryonic stem cells. iPSCs can be derived by inducing selected gene expression via various methods including virus-mediated gene transduction and chemical induction.
